Hi, I'm Crystal!
I'm a surface pattern designer & graphic designer living in Kansas City. I design youthful patterns and prints for the young at heart.
I get the most joy when designing cute animals and characters that trigger an endearing response. I like to stand out with vibrant color palettes, clean vectors, and a cheery personality.
How it all started
I was born and raised in Upstate New York, with a passion for drawing and the arts. I always knew I wanted to be a designer and find myself incredibly fortunate to have always known that about myself. After high school, I moved to Chattanooga Tennessee to attend Southern Adventist University, for their School of Visual Arts and Design program. (SVAD) After 4 years, I received my bachelor's in Graphic Design.
I began working for Champion before I leaped to begin freelancing. After 3 years of working remotely, I was hired by EK Success to design sticker and craft supplies for American Crafts. Due to covid-19 my employment was short-lived but gave me the opportunity to build more connections and freelance again.
I'm looking forward to seeing my designs come to life on fabric, prints, and home decor.
My goal is to design products that inspire others to explore their creativity.
